Terms of Service

Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old to use Folia. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Account Creation: To access the dashboard and portfolio features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password.

Permitted Use: Folia is for personal investment tracking and portfolio analysis. You may not use Folia for any illegal purpose, to distribute harmful content, or in any way that disrupts service for other users.

Not Financial Advice: Folia is a tracking and visualization tool. Nothing on Folia constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making investment decisions.

Your Data: You retain ownership of all portfolio data, transactions, and files you provide. You grant Folia a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the service.

Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data you enter or import. Folia is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete input.

CSV Imports: Imported broker files (e.g., Degiro CSV) are processed on our servers to extract transaction data. Raw files are not retained after processing.

Free Plan: Folia offers a free tier with limited holdings tracking. Features and limits may change over time with reasonable notice.

Pro Plan: Pro subscriptions unlock unlimited holdings, advanced analytics, dividend forecasting, and data exports. Payments are billed monthly or annually and processed via Stripe.

Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period.

Ownership: Folia, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Folia or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute Folia without our written permission.

Feedback: Any suggestions or feedback you submit may be used by Folia without obligation or compensation to you.

By You: You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@getfolia.app. Account deletion removes your data from our servers within 30 days.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, with or without prior notice.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to Folia ends. Any active Pro subscription will not be refunded for the remaining period.

Folia is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free functionality, or the accuracy of market data and quotes displayed.

Market data is sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed or inaccurate. You use Folia at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Folia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including but not limited to investment losses, data loss, or decisions made based on information displayed in Folia.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription in the 12 months prior to the claim.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in Folia's functionality or legal requirements. We will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect.

Continued use of Folia after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
